Message sent from Brigitte Lossing, Director of Recreation & Wellbeing, to participants on March 16, 2020
Dear Recreation & Wellbeing members, participants, parents, and families,
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, Recreation & Wellbeing apologizes for this late notice concerning continued access to our facilities, programs, and services.
Effective Monday, March 16 at 6 p.m., Recreation & Wellbeing will CLOSE all facilities, programs, and services through Tuesday, April 7 (updated as of 3:15 p.m.).
We will continue to assess the situation during this period and provide updates with regards to future programming and availability as they become available.
This decision is in support of the campus’s efforts to limit the opportunity of community transmission of COVID-19.
If you have any items stored in a locker at the RSF or Hearst Gym, they may be retrieved on:
- Monday, March 16: until 6 p.m.(Hearst Gym until 2 p.m.)
- Tuesday, March 17: 7–9 a.m. (RSF only)
We encourage all members of the campus community to support each other during this time. Recreation & Wellbeing leadership is meeting regularly to address and enact response efforts and remains available to answer questions and assist individuals, as needed.
