The Sailing Team is a competitive team that races mostly along the West Coast.
About
The Sailing team started in 1922 and is the second oldest sports club at Cal. Our fleet of FJs is located at Richmond Yacht Club, where we practice three days a week with our coach.
The team regularly competes in regattas throughout the San Francisco Bay and on the waters of Southern California, Hawaii, and the rest of the West Coast. We also sail out-of-conference events across the United States.
The team belongs to the Pacific Coast College Sailing Conference, which is part of the larger Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association. The team has become competitive throughout the West Coast and nationally. We are looking to continue to build on our successes and grow the Corinthian spirit at Cal.
