Founded in 1916, the UC Berkeley Boxing Club (Cal Boxing) is the longest continuously established collegiate boxing program in the nation.
About
We are made of some of the best athletes, student leaders, and coaches across the country. As members of the National Collegiate Boxing Association (“NCBA”), we compete in intercollegiate boxing events sanctioned by USA Boxing. Cal Boxing has been home to National Champions, All-Americans, National Most Outstanding Boxers, and recognized as the Most Organized Club. Cal Boxing welcomes student athletes with all levels of experience to reach their full potential as boxers.
Members must commit to a minimum of 3 training sessions weekly. Mandatory training sessions are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, while at least one conditioning session is required on either Tuesdays or Thursdays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. We have a century’s history of developing athletes with confidence, character, and leadership skills. Try out for Cal Boxing and cement your own legacy.
