Cal Women’s Squash is recognized as the first women’s squash club team at a public university.
About
The Cal Women’s Squash team was established in 2008 as the first women’s squash club team in a public university on the West Coast and has grown immensely ever since. We are currently recognized as a member of the College Squash Association (CSA) and compete in the CSA National Team Championship annually. Although the team remains to be a club team, we are also a competitive team that plays tournaments against other schools. Each year we travel once to the East Coast to play qualification matches in order to qualify for the annual CSA Team National Championship. We are a team comprised of aspiring student athletes that are bright on court and in the classroom. Together our goal is to expand college squash in the West Coast outside of private institutions.
