Ages & Eligibility
- Junior Rock Climbing: Campers must be ages 8-11 on the first day of camp in order to register.
- Senior Rock Climbing: Campers must be ages 12-17 on the first day of camp in order to register.

Campers who have combined rock climbing with another Adventures camp in one week are eligible for our shuttle service to or from the UCAC at the Berkeley Marina. Registration for the shuttle service can be found in our camp registration system, CampDoc. Please note that we are only able to offer a limited number of shuttle spots each week, so register early!
Camp Sessions
Junior Rock Climbing
Rock Climbing campers begin the week learning belay skills on our ropes course at Strawberry Canyon Recreation Center, and later climb at local outdoor rock sites. Campers will learn belay commands, belay technique, back-up belay procedures, climbing technique and proper care for climbing equipment. Sites include Strawberry Canyon, Remillard, Indian Rock, Cragmont Parks. Junior camp curriculum caters to younger and newer climbers. PM Extended Care is only available for Junior Rock Climbers who are enrolled in a PM camp at the Marina, such as Afternoon Adventures, during the same week.

Senior Rock Climbing
Senior Rock Climbers will learn and master belay skills, knot-tying, top-rope climbing & equipment care. Our Senior camp curriculum caters to older campers, with opportunities for advanced challenges. Sites include Strawberry Canyon, Remillard, Indian Rock, Cragmont Parks. Extended care is not offered at Rock Climbing Locations. There is no PM extended care for PM Rock Climbing.
