UVA Afterschool Program
UVA Afterschool Program, run by the experienced UC Berkeley Youth Recreation team, is an exciting enrichment program for kids in grades K-5 that picks up from Marin, Cornell, and Oceanview.
We offer a wide range of hands-on projects to encourage creativity and keep students engaged. Favorites include making slime, cardboard engineering, gardening, group sports, and more! Based out of the University Village Community Center, with multiple classrooms, sports fields, playgrounds, outdoor spaces, and an in-house library.
Currently the Afterschool program registration is closed. Fall 2024 registration will open in late July. If you have questions, contact us at uvayouthrec@berkeley.edu. You can also sign up for our Youth Recreation emails to stay up-to-date on new program offerings.
Ages & Eligibility
Campers must be entering grades K-5 on the first day of the program in order to register.

Program Details
To apply for the 2024-2025 school year, please fill out the application form. Our staff will inform you of your completed application results via email. Please email uvayouthrec@berkeley.edu with any questions about registration. Registration for the UVA Afterschool Program opens in late July and stays open year-round, subject to space availability.
Once registration is confirmed by our team, you will use CampDoc to complete registration and your child(s) information.

*Registration fees will be billed monthly. Payments must be successfully processed to retain a spot in the program.
Payment Process
Tuition will be divided into 10 payments throughout the school year. This will include nine equal payments, to be paid each month from August to April, and a final prorated payment in May.
The balance will automatically be charged to the card saved in CampDoc on the first business day of the month. Any declined/expired cards, or cards not saved, will result in the balancing remaining in the CampDoc account, which must be paid by the 14th of each month.
Monthly installments are not refundable.
